Nosotros Academy K-12 is an independently operated, tuition-free public charter school with an open-admission policy. Our goal is to get all students College and Career Ready!
We do this through our three programs: (1) Traditional K-8, (2) Traditional 9-12 High School and (3) Independent Learning 9-12 High School Program
Nosotros Academy K-12 is its own educational institution and therefore is not part of a school district. This means Nosotros Academy does not follow the school calendar, policies or curriculum of other schools or school districts. Nosotros Academy abides by the rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Education and State Board for Charter Schools and reports directly to these two groups. Most importantly, there are no boundaries regulating enrollment to attend Nosotros Academy K-12. Therefore, students may attend Nosotros Academy regardless of their address or location.
Nosotros Academy follows state-mandated rules and regulations and reports to the Department of Education and State Board. As a public charter school Nosotros Academy:
Parents will be responsible for providing transportation to and from school and from extra-curricular activities.
Nosotros Academy K-12 does provide transportation services to families who meet criteria. Please reach out to the front office at (520) 624-1023 for more information.

Nosotros Academy K-8 requires that all students wear a uniform.
Nosotros Academy High School has a Standard Dress Code Policy for our students, but we are not asking that these students wear a school uniform.
The enrollment policies and procedures follow the rules established by the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools and Arizona Department of Education as defined in A.R.S. 15-184.
All parents are welcome to fill out an application in order to enroll their child. No tuition or fee is charged for attending Nosotros Academy K-12, and admission is not based on ethnicity, national origin, gender, income level, disabling condition or proficiency in the English language. Nosotros Academy K-12 does have the right to review a child’s educational records and may refuse to enroll a child who has been expelled or is in the process of being expelled from another educational institution (per A.R.S. 15-184).
During Open Enrollment, once the number of applications to Nosotros Academy K-12 exceeds the number of available seats so that the program, class, or grade level has reached capacity, then there will be a lottery to determine enrollment and wait-list numbers.
Nosotros Academy K-12 is a family centered school. This means that most of the K-12 students are related to each other causing a sense of responsibility, good behavior and orderliness. There are no issues with our K-12 family centered structure! In fact, enrollment has grown year by year (250+ Students)! Parents prefer to pick up all their children from one campus! They say it is very convenient!
Nosotros Academy has an excellent reputation for student supervision, orderly classroom and campus management, safety and security and no tolerance for bullying.
We keep classrooms separate from other grade levels.
Each classroom is equipped with a certified teacher AND a full-time teacher assistant.
Teachers and teacher assistants are required to eat with students and supervise students during breakfast and lunch.
Teacher and Teacher assistants supervise ALL elective classes such as PE, Music, Art and much more.

Our students are prepared to handle college, university or enter the workforce by graduation!
Our school delivers in-person on campus instruction by certified teachers for our K-8 Traditional Program and 9-12 Traditional Program. However, our Independent Learning 9-12 High School Program is flexible which means students can come on campus for in-person instruction or work from home.
